A minimum of a second-class undergraduate degree normally in a subject other than psychology from a UK university, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.

Months of entry
The Graduate Certificate is a blended-learning programme for students interested in learning about contemporary issues in psychology and education. You will gain an excellent understanding of some of the theories, methods and findings around these areas, and learn how to critically evaluate these concepts in order to apply the outcomes across contexts. This is an excellent taster course for career and professional development.
The programme is taught at the world-leading UCL Institute of Education. The blended-online programme is designed to provide modules that are contemporary, and cutting edge, which will offer students the opportunity to develop key science skills in psychology and education. The blended programme has two live face-to-face (1 per module), and weekly online sessions that promotes guided and self-directed independent learning, plus interactive Zoom/Teams sessions to foster discussion and networking between students and staff who come from a wide variety of professional backgrounds.
The Graduate Certificate is for students wanting to learn a new subject area for career and professional development, or considering re-training in psychology. This qualification enables students to gain a very good understanding of the ideas, theories and methods psychology and education. You will critically evaluate and appraise psychological concepts and different forms of data.

This programme is delivered in a blended-learning structure. Each module has one live face-to-face session at UCL Institute of Education (typically on a Saturday). The online weekly content is delivered via live (Zoom/Teams) lectures/seminars, and guided task-based learning via promotes self-directed and independent learning. Assessments are via different mediums: online multiple-choice exam, written essays, and poster and oral presentation.
