Entry requirements
Academic:
- MA/MSc - A grade classification of 2:2 is required or international equivalent
- PGDip - A grade classification of third-class is required or international equivalent
- A subject related UK or International honours degree from a recognised institution
Work-Based:
- We also consider applicants who are currently employed and wish to apply to UCB.
- To apply, you must have 5 years of relevant managerial work experience, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the sector for the subject matter you are interested in pursuing.
- A reference detailing your roles and responsibilities from your line manager and a meeting with the programme team will usually be scheduled prior to a place being offered.

Course content
This exciting course will provide you with the opportunity to develop higher level knowledge, skills and talent for a career within the dynamic global meetings and event industry.
This postgraduate qualification will enhance your appreciation of the complex, strategic and operational management tools used in the events industry. Your knowledge will be supported by current global events theory, giving you the ability to solve executive problems.
By adopting a social science approach, you will explore and critique the operational and business issues within the sector and look for solutions at corporate business level. The social interaction of people within the wider environment will form the basis to how you approach a variety of concepts.
