Course content

This Masters degree is designed for participants who have achieved a first degree normally in a discipline other than hospitality or tourism management and who now wish to focus on these industries as a potential career route. Specifically the programme aims to develop students' knowledge and understanding of hospitality and tourism management within the context of a dynamic and turbulent global environment; through a focus on operations and facility management.. The aim is to develop students' skills and abilities such that they can (i) make an immediate contribution to management in a hospitality or tourism organisation and (ii) lay the foundation for later career progression. The Masters degree is accredited by the Institute of Hospitality.

Opportunities exist for a three or six month paid placement with this Masters degree.

Information for international students

IELTS 6.0 with no individual element below 5.5 is required. Academic English language support and an English language checking service is provided free of charge. UCB will consider offering scholarships up to the value of £1,500 to international, depending on the applicant's country of origin.
