For entry to an MA in Archaeology programme, candidates are required to hold an Honours primary Degree, or equivalent, with a minimum of 60% in Archaeology. Candidates below this minimum mark who can demonstrate substantial professional experience in Archaeology may also apply. All suitably qualified applicants will be required to attend for interview in mid June.

Course contentThe Department of Archaeology at University College Cork has a long tradition of research and teaching in Human Osteoarchaeology. The new taught MA in Human Osteoarchaeology will be a one-year, full-time, vocationally orientated programme in Human Osteoarchaeology. This will provide both a basis for application in the work place and an opportunity for students to continue into PhD research.
