Entry requirements

Candidates must hold a Second Class Honours Grade 1 BCL Degree from the National University of Ireland, or a Second Class Honours LLB Degree from University College Cork, or have such other relevant third level educational and/or professional experience as, in the opinion of the Faculty of Law, qualifies the candidate to undertake the Postgraduate Diploma in Law.

Course content

The Postgraduate Diploma in Law is a graduate qualification especially attractive to members of the legal profession. The Diploma involves the successful completion of four course units drawn from the range of taught courses offered for the LLM Programme. The Diploma may be pursued over one or two years. Candidates who obtain honours in the Diploma may undertake the LLM Degree.
