The focus of the MA programme (CKE03) is 'Women and Irish Society', whereby students apply feminist theories and methodologies to an analysis of the changing role of women in Irish Society. This programme commences with an introductory discussion on the basis and nature of Women's Studies as a field of academic study. It then progresses to address specific themes in a series of lectures and seminars, some by guest speakers from outside UCC.
