Entry requirements

Entry Requirements Candidates should normally fulfil the following criteria: hold a degree in Psychology or related areas such as Medicine, Education, Special Education, Nursing, Social Work or Counselling or a relevant professional qualification such as that obtained for Nursing, Education, Special Education, Occupational Therapy or Counselling. Demonstrate a knowledge of behaviour therapy through completing a certificate course, in-house training, attending short courses or through self-directed learning Have relevant post-training work experience Satisfy an internal interview panel.

THE POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BEHAVIOURAL AND COGNTIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY WILL NOT BE ON OFFER IN THE COMING ACADEMIC YEAR 2009/2010

The Postgraduate Diploma in Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (CKC03) seeks to fulfil the coursework requirements for the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB) associate level exam, and provides an access course to the MA in Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy.

TIME COMMITMENT: The time commitment for the programme is one half day each week during the academic calendar
