Students will be expected to be in possession of a primary degree of at least second class honours level and one of the following: - Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling or equivalent, - Postgraduate Diploma in Gestalt Therapy or equivalent, - CQSW/NQSW or equivalent or have other appropriate qualifications/experience in working with group facilitation deemed suitable by the selection committee.

Course contentThe MA in Group Facilitation is based on a developmental model of the person which aims to provide a professional training in group facilitation. Students explore the theoretical basis of group facilitation, obtain appropriate practice and supervision, examine group processes and analysis and acquire relevant research skills, which will enable them to undertake a dissertation on a specialised topic in group facilitation.
