To be considered for registration an applicant will normally have (a) a primary degree of at least second-class honours level or the equivalent (b) an application/research proposal acceptable to the Department of History. All candidates must satisfy a selection committee.

Course contentThe Masters Degree in History is a one year, full-time taught MA.
Students must choose a programme in
A) Historical Research (CKE44)
B) International Relations (CKE45) or
C) Medieval and Renaissance History (CKE46)
N.B. There are FIVE Specialist options in the A) Historical Research stream (the dissertation will be related to the Specialist option chosen
