Course contentMicroelectronic design is characterised by the need for continuing education and training. Today, most microelectronic designers require more than is delivered in a conventional four-year programme in electronic engineering. The aim of the Postgraduate Diploma (Microelectronic Design) programme is to provide advanced coursework for engineers who are engaged in the development and realisation of integrated electronic systems, without the significant research element associated with the MEngSc programme.
Fees and fundingThis programme receives funding from the Government under a major initiative to meet IT skills needs identified by the Expert Group on Future Skills Needs, therefore EU Students admitted to this programme in 2009/2010 will pay a reduced annual tuition fee of 2,000 euros
