Candidates must normally have an Honours degree to at least 2.1 standard in an appropriate discipline or equivalent qualifications and experience.
Months of entry
This interdisciplinary programme in Islamic Studies offers students courses from several disciplines, covering various approaches, eras and topics in the study of Islam, from literary analysis of medieval texts to anthropological examination of contemporary Muslim societies and lives. In addition, students will be able to achieve a good knowledge of Arabic, which is necessary for the study of many of the Islamic sources.
