Entry requirements
Applicants for admission will normally be expected to hold a relevant Honours degree with a 2:2 or above from a recognised university or body. In exceptional circumstances applicants without this qualification may be admitted at the discretion of the Programme Director subject to having an alternative qualification, or an approved level of experience, appropriate to the field of study.

Course content
The programme is suitable for professionals who wish to practice at the cutting edge of their profession.
It will interest those working in youth work, adult learning, community arts and community development from a wide range of backgrounds including community education, housing, planning, social work and other community linked professions.
This programme offers a work-based route to a professional qualification in Community Learning and Development (CLD), approved by the CLD Standards Council for Scotland. Participants will study at the same time as being employed or working on a voluntary basis.
