Course content


For aspiring and existing leaders in various professional settings, the programme will provide a framework for leadership development which takes account of the circumstances generated by changes in social and economic conditions and by government and local authority policies.

Courses include: Work-Based Project Dissertation, Leading and Managing from the MIddle, Action Research Project, Mentoring in Professional Contexts, Leading Effective School Improvement, Leading Professional Development, Leading Learning and Teaching, Leading Change, Strategic Planning Management and Leadership in Professional Organisations, Financial Planning Management and Leadership in Professional Organisations, School Leadership and the Law, Developing as a Strategic Leader, Leading Strategic Change (Some courses are optional)
