Candidates must have either a 2:1 or a first in Psychology, or the equivalent in a sibling discipline that is acceptable to both the prospective supervisor and the Postgraduate Committee. They must also have two satisfactory letters of recommendation and either have a source of funding or be willing to fund themselves.
Months of entry
The School gives a student the skills and training to carry out phsychological research. It has a thriving postgraduate community, an established tradition of empirical research and excellent research facilities. Specialist laboratories include vision research,health psychology, cognitive electrophysiology and neuropsychology laboratories, an eyewitness laboratory, video-editing suite, a virtual reality environment, access to PET/MRI facilities, excellent links with the local industries, schools and hospitals.
