Course content
This MA is available to writers nationally and internationally and focuses on writing and producing for TV, radio and multi-platform production. It will undoubtably be a useful addition to alternative training and education that is currently available to those wishing to become screenwriters; and will give you an opportunity to develop and extend your creative thinking and broaden your professional practice.
By widening your skills and knowledge you will have the insight to understand and interact with national and international markets and be equipped with the intellectual and practical skills to engage with a wider audience. This, in turn, will enhance your career as well as your personal development.
The programme may enable you to work in a research-led environment in aspects of creative writing and screenplay/scriptwriting educational programmes. Alternatively, it may form the basis for further research and study at the level of MPhil, PhD or Doctor of Practice.
