Course content

The MRes Psychology is for psychology graduates who wish to continue their studies to an advanced level and may be considering progression to a doctorate. The main focus of the course is the study of research methods, which will give you an advanced critical appreciation of contemporary methods, theories and issues in psychology and will build upon and enhance the skills you acquired from your undergraduate studies.

You will develop and master a high level of complex specialist knowledge and skills in the field of psychology and you will have the opportunity to use these skills to conduct your research.

The Psychology department at the University of Bolton is one of the oldest and most established psychology departments in the UK with a long history of teaching the subject at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
