Entry requirements

An undergraduate degree (2:2 Honours or above) in the UK system, or comparative result if outside the UK. We also give serious consideration to applicants with non-traditional backgrounds and take relevant social science work experience into consideration. Minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

Course content

This course aims to combine the strengths of these two Divisions: Peace Studies and Development (known as Bradford Centre for International Development). They are both long established within the University of Bradford and both have high international reputations in their respective areas, in terms of teaching, research and policy and programme engagement.

The course provides a structured, innovative and challenging taught MA programme on the important inter-relationships between peace and development. It offers a comprehensive introduction and analysis of the inter-relationships betweeen development, conflict and security in developing and transitional societies.
