Student should normally have already achieved a degree or equivalent professional qualification. Studnts who can demonstrate that they have worked academically at Master's level will also be considered. All applicants should have at least two years' work experience in a public service environment, or should be able to demonstrate two years' work experience in another sector, with a view to moving into public services in the future.

This programme is designed to meet the professional and academic needs of senior and middle managers working in the health and social care sector, social enterprises, the voluntary or independent sector and other organisations who wish to develop strategic leadership and management skills.
Study can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis and the course is normally delivered in block teaching, so allowing you to flexibly meet your own academic, professional or organisational needs.
These programmes are accredited by the the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Successful completion confers eligibility to students to apply for registration as a member of CMI and to achieve an additional CMI qualification (on payment of an additional fee) which is awarded alongside the academic award.
