Entry requirements

You must have a first degree (not necessarily in business and management) from an approved university, or an acceptable professional qualification. Candidates whose first language is not English will normally have to have passed an approved test in English before admission. We require an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with minimum 5.5 in each section), or alternatively, 96 in the Internet-Based TOEFL test.

Course content

The new Applied Management MSc courses at Bradford are aimed at graduates from a range of disciplines, keen to learn the skills of transferring management theory into business practice.

These programmes provide students with a higher level of learning and understanding whilst also increasing and enhancing potential career opportunities through their business and management skills.

The Applied Management and Enterprise course provides graduates with skills and knowledge to develop their own business or consultancy. Entrepreneurship and innovation are the key drivers behind this new and topical January start MSc programme which will also appeal to those people seeking careers in large organizations in which innovation and development would be at a premium.

Teaching will focus on the development of applied strategic management skills and how enterprise can support business. The programme provides students with the necessary skill set to drive new business opportunities through techniques of planning and implementation.
