Degree and/or experience:
Normally a good honours degree or equivalent is required. A degree in any subject will be considered. Work experience is useful but not essential.
For non-native speakers of English:
In order to benefit from, contribute to and enjoy the course, a good command of spoken and written English language is required. If English is not your first language, you will need English language proficiency equivalent to an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5, with 6 in the written test.
Months of entry
The Management (Entrepreneurship) MSc is a one-year professional taught masters degree.
It is an innovative alternative to an MBA for graduates of any subject – with or without work experience – who are looking to develop their entrepreneurial abilities within the corporate world. It is also suitable for those who are looking to start their own business.
The course combines MSc studies in management with specialist studies in entrepreneurship to follow your strengths and career interests, leading to a masters degree with 'Entrepreneurship' in the title to signal your specialist interest and knowledge.
Term 1: international leadership and management; international marketing management; management strategy environment; and managing organisational behaviour.
Term 2: international management integration: entrepreneurship (includes workshops and tutor-led study visit to another European country); managing operations and systems; accounting for managers; and international strategy management.
Term 3: entrepreneurship and new venture planning. Students will also undertake workshops, a final project and an additional module from a range of options.
