Entry requirements

Degree and/or experience: Normally a good honours degree or equivalent is required. Work experience is useful but not essential. Applicants with non-standard entry qualifications will be considered. If you are unsure whether you meet the entry requirements then please contact us. International students who need help meeting the academic entry requirements should contact our International College. For non-native speakers of English: In order to benefit from, contribute to and enjoy the course, a good command of spoken and written English language is required. If English is not your first language, you will need English language proficiency equivalent to an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5, with 6.0 in the written test and a minimum of 5.5 in the other elements. International students whose language skills do not match the IELTS scores set out above should consider applying for this course through the Extended Masters programme at the University of Brighton's Language Institute.

You will explore the theories behind the practice of digital marketing at an advanced level and have the opportunity to develop an in-depth and critical understanding of digital marketing planning and strategy.

On the course, you will:

  • examine the range of digital marketing channels and contextualise emerging digital marketing opportunities
  • hear guest speakers from the digital marketing industry discuss best practice in email, mobile, social media, SEO and digital strategy.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) have awarded this course Multiple Award Pathway status. This means you can collect CIM qualifications alongside your degree and are exempt from some CIM assessments.
