Entry requirements

Open to all health professionals (doctors, nurses, health visitors, midwives, health promotion specialists, professions allied to medicine, environmentalists and environmental scientists) for whom public health is a major component of their activity, and who have substantial professional experience including a management element. A first degree is not essential. Applicants will normally be required to attend for interview.

Course content

These courses meet the needs of doctors and other senior health and environmental colleagues in delivering and managing the public health and/or environmental agenda. Participants gain an understanding of public health issues and the roles of all the professionals involved in both the statutory and non-statutory sectors.
