Course content

We offer an independent prescribing programme for pharmacists. It's run concurrently between the School of Health Sciences and the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, enabling a large degree of multidisciplinary learning.

There are two disctinct pathways to enrol on to, one for nurses and allied health-care professionals and one for pharmacists.

The programme is delivered in intensive blocks to facilitate work commitments. It takes place through face-to-face educational preparation and the use of a dedicated online non-medical prescribing resource.
