Months of entry
Events are a key tool in the strategic development plans of a range of organisations, from businesses and governments to sporting bodies and charities. An event such as the World Cup or the Olympics can showcase a tourist destination on a global stage and bring communities together in celebration of national and sporting cultures. You will develop the open, critical and enquiring mindset required for the social-scientific and applied study of events and management. Career options include setting up your own event enterprise, producing local arts-based festivals, working for large multi-national event organisations and further study at PhD level.
