Course content

The MPhil in Planning, Growth and Regeneration course emphasises the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach to understanding growth and regeneration problems and creating policy solutions; consists of 8 modules: compulsory: issues in public policy and regeneration 1; urban and environmental planning 1 and 2; research methodology; real estate development plus options from a list including: legal issues in land use and finance; regional growth; spatial economics; housing and regeneration; assessed by essays, written and oral examinations and dissertation; successful completion enables continuation to PhD study.
