Course content

The first year of the programme will consist of three research rotations, a year long seminar course in Developmental Biology, and training modules in key techniques. For years 2-4, the students will carry out a PhD research project in their chosen laboratory.

Information for international students

This course is open to residents of any country. There are funding schemes that would pay the additional fees for 'overseas' (home/EU students are fully funded) but we cannot guarantee that any application will be successful. See website for more details.

Fees and funding

The Wellcome Trust-funded programme will award fees to students at the 'home/EU' rate plus a generous living allowance that is considerably greater than the University's estimated maintenance costs.
