GPA of 3.7 or above; 1st class honours from UK university or equivalent. Applications will not be considered without a clear research proposal outlining the subject of the thesis and the means by which it is to be researched, an indication that the academic requirement have been or will be met and (where applicable) appropriate confirmation of proficiency in English.

Course contentSyllabus includes International History; International Politics and Organisation; Theories of International Relations; Strategic Studies; International Economics; International Law. Year begins with intensive lectures; seminars begin later and continue to mid-February when examinations are taken.
Information for international students
For those whose first language is not English and who have not previously studied for a degree in an English language university, evidence of proficiency in English: an IELTS score of 7.5 or a TOEFL computer-based test score of 260 with at least 5.0 in the Essay Writing Test.
