Course content

The 11-month course is aimed at introducing students to bioinformatics and other quantitative aspects of modern biology and medicine. It will also provide a grounding in business management and the management of technology and innovation. It is intended both for those whose first degree is in biology, and for mathematicians, computer scientists and others wishing to learn about the subject in preparation for a PhD course or a career in industry and commerce. Before the first term students are required to attend an introductory course in molecular biology and statistics

Fees and funding

We are likely to have a limited number of research council or other funded studentships available on a fees and maintenance basis to home students, and on a fees only basis for EU students.
