Course content

The structure of the programme allows study at Diploma and Masters level. The programme consists of taught modules that are designed to integrate the basic building blocks of the craft of Forensic Physician Practice within a conceptual framework. The course enables students to understand how the issues in forensic practice are referable to higher principles of law and ethics impinging upon civil society. It also enables them to appreciate the complex crosscurrents of contemporary social attitudes within what is often a politically and emotionally charged area.
