Entry requirements

Applicants should hold at least 2:2 degree.

Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the programme and if they have experience.

Course content

Our postgraduate LLM International Business Law course provides you with analytical and reflective skills and expertise in international business law. Successful completion will give you a recognised postgraduate qualification in International Business Law.

Within industry, international business law is a fast-changing and increasingly complex area. This course provides a learning experience which will enable you to develop your academic ability and enhance your performance in employment, whilst further developing your career opportunities.

Learning and assessment

For online students, teaching and learning is predominantly through weekly synchronous and asynchronous online workshops. For campus based students there are weekly workshops which take place on Wednesdays. The learning ethos is to draw on the range and experience of our diverse student cohort.

Substantial coursework represents the main assessment method in most modules along with workshop presentations and /or online activities and the dissertation.

Our extensive e-law library facility gives access to many legal and academic sources from within and outside the jurisdiction.

The course is supported by the University’s web-based Blackboard facility with ICT an integral part of the programme. The University subscribes to extensive electronic legal databases and journals while all students are registered users of the University’s network with a dedicated network space accessible remotely.
