Course content

The Accounting and Financial Management (CIMA) programme offers you the opportunity to gain the essential knowledge and skills in the area of Accounting, Finance and Financial Management through a structured and focused programme of academic studies.

The Master’s Gateway route involves sitting CIMA’s Gateway exam/ Management Case Study Exam. (The content of the MA in Accounting and Finance programme prepares you to sit this examination during the course). Once you have passed this three-hour exam, you’ll be granted 12 exam exemptions from the certificate, operational and management levels and you’ll also gain the intermediary award ‘CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting’.

You can then start studying the strategic level of CIMA’s Professional Qualification and work towards completing it to gain the full Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.
