The MSc Health Informatics programme is designed to provide a specialist qualification in health informatics. The course addresses a wide range of operational care and management perspectives, illustrates principles applicable right across the health and social care sector and takes theory into practice. It is ideal for demonstrating your competence in informatics to support the care domain and could contribute towards meeting your continuing professional development goals. The course learning outcomes map to Health Informatics National Occupational Standards and the Key Skills Framework.
The programme consists of three core modules in health research methods, one with a quantitative slant and one with a qualitative flavour supported by a module in postgraduate study skills.
