Entry requirements

A recognised undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent or NVQ level 5. Other professional qualifications or experience in a food related field may be considered and enquiries should be made to the Course Leader - Dr Brigit Ramsingh (bramsingh@uclan.ac.uk)

Suitable level of proficiency in relation to IT.

For students whose first language is not English, we require a minimum of one of the following:

  • A grade C in the Cambridge Proficiency Certificate in English OR
  • A minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS OR
  • A score of 600 in TOEFL, with an average 4.0 in the test for written English

Course content

MSc Food Safety Management at UCLan provides a fascinating and comprehensive focus on important areas of HACCP auditing, foodborne disease, food safety hazards and the effective management of food safety.
