Entry requirements

Students require a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a subject related to tourism, business or leisure management. It would normally be expected that this degree be awarded at the level of lower second class or above. Other graduates who can demonstrate a commitment to the study of tourism management or who have significant experience in the tourism industry will also be considered for entry.

The programme combines a theoretical and practical approach to provide a vocational and intellectually challenging education to enhance your knowledge, skills and appeal to a broader international market. It is intended to cater for those with an appropriate undergraduate qualification who aspire to a career in the area of international tourism and attraction management. Emphasis is placed on developing a range of professional, managerial and transferable skills aligned with an extensive knowledge of management disciplines applicable to understanding both natural and man-made attraction and the tourism industry today.
