Minimum of lower second class (2:2) honours degree; there is no requirement for prospective students to hold a first degree specifically in Media, as the level of theoretical and practical teaching and learning accounts for students who hold degrees from different disciplines. Applications from non-traditional or mature students, with relevant professional experience, are welcomed.
Months of entry
This course is concerned with a range of opportunities and challenges affecting the media – industry practices, technology and convergence, new media and globalisation – as they relate to the media in a variety of contexts, such as business, culture, economic and identity. Our course offers you the chance to study some practical aspects of television and radio, alongside theoretical research and the opportunity to gain an awareness of contemporary issues and debates that affect all media industries and sectors.
