Minimum of 2:1 honours degree; GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English language, mathematics and a science (preferably combined) at time of application; school experience; disclosure is required; it should be noted though that a grade B in 1 or more of the above subjects would be preferred.Interview required. Candidates will be required to undertake written tasks relating to literacy, numeracy and science.

PGCE with recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status (includes 60 credits at Masters level). This degree will enable you to meet the standards for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (school years 1 to 6). Full coverage of the subjects of the primary curriculum.
Professional Placement in schools is a central feature of the course, with eighteen weeks spent working in at least two different schools.The University-based elements of training help students to prepare for, and learn from, this work with teachers and children.
