Course content

Babies and young children need the best start to their education, which is why high-quality teachers are so greatly in demand. We're here to help you gain the knowledge and skills to achieve Early Years Teacher status, helping you play a vital role in the development of children from birth to 5 years old. You'll not only improve your own teaching expertise, but also ensure that young children have the best possible preparation for school and beyond.

Early childhood care and education is more than preparation for the future - you can develop your expertise in child development and teaching, be an advocate for children and the diverse, amazing ways they grow, learn and make their mark on our lives, right from birth.

This course is perfect for those currently working in an Early Years setting, helping you engage in higher level professional development to show you meet the Teachers' Standards (Early Years).

Fees and funding

The course is fully funded by the National College for School Leadership, your tuition fees are paid and your employer will receive £7,000 to support your training, allowing you to focus on your studies without worrying about payment.

Put your passion for teaching to the best use and help create a better future not just for yourself, but for the next generation.
