You'll develop the skills required to teach across the spectrum of activities in the National Curriculum for PE, acquiring the knowledge, skills, understanding and professional standards necessary to teach pupils within Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and beyond. We build a strong foundation of experiential learning in the school environment, complemented by a comprehensive support system of mentoring and guidance.
You'll help contribute to the development of problem-solving skills and self-esteem in today's youth, enhancing their physical confidence and abilities. We believe that physical activity should be combined with the cognitive processes involved in making decisions and selecting, refining, evaluating and adapting skills and movements. If you share these values and beliefs, then take the first step towards a future as a successful PE teacher inspiring the athletes of tomorrow.
