Entry requirements

In order to apply for this course you must have completed an AFT accredited Intermediate Level Systemic Training Course and have a reference from your Intermediate Level course. Applicants will usually have a relevant professional training in one of the helping professions. If you do not have to have a relevant professional qualification but have equivalent relevant experience and training you may be able to make an application through the APEL process.

Course content

  • Develop your skills as a family therapist whilst gaining a masters in systemic psychotherapy
  • Study a highly regarded course that is accredited by the Association of Family Therapy (AFT)
  • Register as a systemic psychotherapist or family therapist with the UK Council Psychotherapy (UKCP) after successfully completing this course
  • Advance your knowledge of research design and practice
  • Engage with an enthusiastic teaching team who have over 15 years’ experience teaching systemic psychotherapy
