Entry requirements

In order to apply for this course you must have completed an AFT accredited Intermediate Level Systemic Training Course and have a reference from your Intermediate Level course.

Applicants will usually have a relevant professional training in one of the helping professions.

If you do not have to have a relevant professional qualification but have equivalent relevant experience and training you may be able to make an application through the APEL process.

Course content

This course aims to:

  • Increase your knowledge and skills of working systemically using evidence- based systemic practice
  • Prepare you for registration as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist, and enhance your competence and skills as an advanced practitioner
  • Advance your knowledge of research design and practice.
