Course content

This course is perfect for you if you’re working in public health and wish to improve your skills and broaden your knowledge to become a public health practitioner who can lead, develop and evaluate public health projects in a multidisciplinary environment. The course is global in its approach so you’ll explore global environmental and public health issues to gain an international perspective.

This course is run in partnership with the public health team at Derby City Council so their specialists will also mentor you throughout your studies. We’ve designed this course with public health competency, career and knowledge frameworks to equip you with the up-to-date skills needed in today’s public health arena.
