Entry requirements

You are expected to fulfil the entry requirements of the related masters programme, which is normally the equivalent of a 2:1 honours degree in a relevant discipline. Applicants with alternative qualifications and/or relevant experience may also be considered.

Literature, Theatre, Comics, Film, Scottish & Global History, Politics & Security, Philosophy, Creative Writing - over 70 postgraduate modules all now available on a stand-alone basis.

No time to study full time? Don't want to commit to a full masters degree? You can now study our specialist taught postgraduate modules individually.

Unrivalled interdisciplinary study and flexible learning are offered by our many degree pathways and modules. Whether for career development, PhD preparation or merely general interest, the degree courses can be taken either full-time (1 year) or part-time (2 years).

You can choose from topics in literature, theatre, comics, film, Scottish and global history, politics and security, philosophy, and creative writing.
