Entry is normally restricted to graduates in medicine, dentistry, nursing and health-related sciences. Applications will be considered from others who, although not graduates, are exceptionally well qualified in terms of seniority and experience.
Months of entry
Students undertake taught modules over two semesters from September to April. A variety of compulsory and optional courses are offered, all of which are SCQF accredited.
To be awarded the Diploma, a student must accumulate at least 120 SCQF credits with grade D or above in all written and oral examinations.
To proceed to the Masters, students must obtain grade C+ or above in all written and oral examinations and an overall pass at examination of 60% or above, and accumulate at least 180 SCQF credits, including a dissertation.
