Equivalent of a 2:1 honours degree in a relevant discipline (art or science) plus a portfolio assessment. Applicants with alternative qualifications and/or relevant experience will also be considered.

Course contentThis four month course allows students to study anatomy side by side with life drawing, sculpture and illustration. It is aimed both at artists who wish to study anatomy first hand from cadaver study as well as anatomists and other scientists who would like to enhance their knowledge through developing their artistic skills.
Students will learn anatomy through dissection, prosection study, illustration and facial sculpture and apply this to life art practice. Students will also be introduced to research methods and digital media.

Life Art (10 credits)
Digital Media Practice (10 credits)
Research Methods (10 credits)
Dedicated studio space is provided along with access to Thiel dissection facilities, the first of their kind in the UK.
