Entry requirements

An honours degree at 2.1, or above, in accounting or a related discipline with significant accounting content will normally be required, though a consideration of relevant and advanced professional practical experience will also be considered. IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent if English if not the first language and/or the main language used for education.

Course content

MSc Professional Accountancy is suitable for those who aim to become professionally qualified accountants and require an understanding of the impact of accounting and the accountancy profession in an international context. There will be a particular focus on the role of the accountancy profession as a global regulator and lobbyer of international business practice including the exploration of contemporary issues connected with the accountancy profession and practice.

his degree is suitable for those who have studied accounting before but do not have professional accreditation.
