Entry requirements

Honours degree at 2.1 or above in a relevant discipline. In certain circumstances we may ask you to spend a year completing our Master's degree in Psychological Research Methods before you commence your doctoral research. The decision about the suitability of your qualifications is made by the potential supervisor and the schools postgraduate adviser. IELTS of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in area component, or equivalent.

Course content

We have an ever expanding active research environment here in Dundee. We offer research degrees in a wide variety of topics in Psychology, including 'Language, Cognition and Perception', 'Neuroscience and Development' and 'Self and Identity'.

We provide a vibrant and supportive postgraduate community. For example students will enjoy a number of research seminar series in which they either hear about cutting-edge research by leading external and internal researchers, or present their own on-going work to stimulating audience.
