The MSc in Clinical Research NIHR is a first step on the HEE/NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic Pathway for non-medical healthcare professions. This pathway aims to develop clinical researchers who will lead the integration of research into the clinical environment. Successful students have the potential to move through the pathway to Senior Clinical Lectureship positions.

This MSc offers a fully funded studentship including salary replacement and course fees. Students are supported in their dissertations by research active members of the Faculty of Medicine and Health and are given opportunities to present their work at conferences and through publications. We are one of only 10 universities in the UK that delivers an NIHR funded MSc in Clinical Sciences.
