We place great importance on a candidate's record of work experience. We are looking for MBA candidates who have a minimum of three year's responsible work experience. In addition to the minimum work experience requirements MBA candidates should normally have achieved: a first class or second-class honours degree or international equivalent, or a relevant postgraduate diploma, or qualification from a professional body acceptable to UEA. We actively welcome applicants who have substantial, responsible managerial experience. In exceptional circumstances, the requirement of a degree level qualification can be waived; candidates will be considered at the discretion of the course leader.
Months of entry
Norwich Business School's full-time MBA programme is an intensive 12 month course designed for ambitious managers who want to focus on developing themselves as future senior managers. It is also the UK's first MBA that jointly awards a Diploma in Management Consulting.
Students also have the opportunity to study three subject areas where the University has established a world-class reputation: Strategic Carbon Management, Brand Leadership and Economic and Finance Stream. Included within the elective choices, students can choose to explore how climate change and energy management are now at the core of building sustainable business in the 21st Century, or how brands are shaping our perceptions of what modern businesses represent both as consumers and in an economic sense.
At the core of our full-time programme is an opportunity to deliver real management consultancy projects to client companies. These are group projects, with well-established businesses, that allow students to apply their MBA knowledge, skills and competences to help an organisation achieve its goals, whilst developing teamwork and project management skills. Students are supported by project mentors and an intense consultancy skills training programme.
We emphasise the practical nature of what we teach and actively seek collaboration with local industry and commerce. Our combination of knowledge and its application will ensure you can develop the career ladder skills to support your journey to increased prosperity.
