Minimum 2.2 honours degree from a UK higher education institution (or equivalent); A-level French or Spanish or a significant amount of French/Spanish content in your degree; GCSE grade C or equivalent in English language, mathematics and science; effective reading abilities with clear and accurate spoken and written English; meeting the Secretary of State's requirements for physical and mental fitness to teach; and experience of observing or working with children in the Foundation Stage/Primary Phase
Months of entry
This programme is designed to meet the requirements of local primary schools by training teachers who are adept in educating children in the multicultural, multilingual urban environment of the capital, and also in delivering the curriculum for Modern Foreign Languages (French or Spanish). The programme is delivered through a mixture of taught input and school-based teaching placements in the UK and either France or Spain according to your specialism. Three modules are at Level 3 and two at Master's level, offering 60 Master's-level credits in total

Fees and funding
Full programme fees: £9000 for UK / EU students
Home and EU ITT students may also be eligible for a bursary from the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL).
The bursary level and award is dependent on the subject in which a trainee wishes to teach and the outcome of their most relevant qualification, not the subject of their academic qualification.
