Entry requirements

A postgraduate diploma or previous postgraduate level of study in a related field. Applicants are expected to attend a selection interview and provide two references.

Course content

The MA provides accredited continuing professional development for career professionals as well as progression from the initial training. Qualified and experienced professionals working in the guidance context have the opportunity to update themselves on theoretical developments in research relevant to guidance practice, contemporary research methodologies and to undertake their own work-based research study.

In addition to being able to use use this course to satisfy CPD requirements for the ICG/CDI Register of Practitioners, you will beneift from the innovative career guidance and counselling training research we have through our various projects and consultancy.

Your learning is also enriched by the programme team's European research.

Information for international students

Overall IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening (or recognised equivalent).
