Course content

This is a joint PhD programme between the School of Informatics in Edinburgh and Beihang University, China, to encourage collaborative research. Students will be co-supervised by a member of academic staff in each institution, and spend approximately equal time at each location.

Informatics is the study of the structure, the behaviour, and the interactions of natural and engineered computational systems, and encompasses the traditional academic fields of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. The School of Informatics is the largest and best Informatics research centre in the UK.
